ALVTechnologies Philippines Incorporated proudly supported Team Philippines in the 1st International Nuclear Science Olympiad from August 1 to 6, 2024 at New Clark City, Pampanga.
The international competition sought to promote nuclear education and encourage international collaboration in the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology.
It also aimed to popularize nuclear science knowledge, spark student interest, improve teaching, inspire students to pursue careers in the field, and foster international relations.
The event was organized by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Philippine Nuclear Science Foundation Incorporated, Department of Education (DepEd), and National Research Council of the Philippines.
We would also like to congratulate the Filipino students who won and represented our country during the competition.
Mohammad Nur Casib of Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Central Mindanao and Neil Kyle Olaer Maniquis of Manila Science High School won gold medals, and Jeremiah Auza of PSHS Central Visayas won a silver medal.
ALVTechnologies Philippines Incorporated will continue to support the next generation of nuclear scientists and contribute to the advancement of the field in the Philippines.
