ALVTechnologies Philippines Incorporated successfully held a four-day training course for Fluorescence Spectroscopy at Analytical Technologies Pte Ltd. and HORIBA Instruments (Singapore) Pte Ltd. from January 10 to 13, 2023.
Participants in the training included researchers from the Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI) and the Mindanao State University—Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT).
The training program included a discussion of the fundamentals of fluorescence spectroscopy and an introduction to the FluoroMax 4 system. Additionally, operation training was performed, which covered measuring liquid and solid samples using FluoroMax 4, with and without a cryostat, and doing a calibration check on the instrument.
