ALVTechnologies Philippines Incorporated supported the webinar “AFM for Ferroelectric Materials and PFM” presented by Dr. Ren Zhu, Applications Scientist, Oxford instruments last August 26, 2021.
The participants of the webinar were AFM users and researchers within the South East Asia Region who wants to learn the basics of PFM and how they can integrate it in their current research.
Dr. Zhu talked about Piezoresponse Force Microscopy (PFM) which is a helpful technique in understanding nanoscale properties and behavior of a wide class of functional materials. PFM Modes enable characterization of a variety of materials and devices that previously could not be measured using conventional PFM. MFP – 3D system was also showcased during the event as Dr. Zhu performed a live demo of the system.
