Solar Light Simulators, or solar simulators, are precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with the latest laboratory standards from ASTM, IEC, ISO, and others. A wide selection is offered, from our patented Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing 6-output Simulator to our single output units, which are available in 150W / 0.4″ (1 cm) output through 1000W / 6″ (15.25 cm) output, in UV, Air Mass, and Custom Spectra configurations. They can reliably produce UV levels several times stronger than tropical sun, without any of the associated heat load, which is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during materials testing. These devices are well suited to a variety of applications including materials testing, in vitro and in vivo scientific research, PMMA plate pre-irradiation, academic studies, photobiological applications, and SPF testing, just to name a few.
Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing 6 Output Solar Simulator
Solar Light’s advanced Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing Solar Simulator is the industry standard for high throughput SPF testing and dermatological studies. It produces UVA or UVA+B (290-400nm) from its 6 individual 8mm square outputs, each of which can be controlled separately. Up to 6 tests can be performed simultaneously in a short period of time, dramatically increasing lab productivity. The 601 is fully compliant with the latest ISO, FDA, JCIA, and COLIPA spectral irradiance standards.
1000W UV LS1000-Series Solar Simulators
Our state of the art single output LS1000-Series Solar Simulators produce solar UV radiation in the 290-400nm range, and can be quickly and easily configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, or full spectrum sunlight optionally. Output beams are available in either round or square shape, with 2 – 6″ (5 – 15.25 cm) sizes. These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with laboratory standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO.
1000W Air Mass LS1000 Series Solar Simulators
Solar Light’s state of the art 1000W single output LS1000-Series Solar Simulators produce Class A Air Mass 0 and Air Mass 1.5 Emission Spectra to accurately replicate full spectrum sunlight, with 1 sun output intensity. They can also be quickly and easily configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, Visible Only, or custom spectra optionally. Output beams are available in either round or square shape, with 2-6″ (5-15.25 cm) sizes. These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with the latest ASTM, IEC, and ISO laboratory standards, and are relied upon by the most prestigious laboratories worldwide.
150-300W UV 16S-Series Solar Simulators
Our state of the art single output 16S-Series Solar Simulators produce solar UV radiation in the 290-400nm range, and can be quickly and easily configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, or full spectrum sunlight optionally. These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with laboratory standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO. 16S-Series simulators can reliably produce UV levels several times stronger than tropical sun, without any of the associated heat load, which is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during materials testing, as well as for cosmetics, dermatological, photobiological, and medical research.
150-300W Air Mass 16S-Series Solar Simulators
